He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Hall Jr.; his parents, Willie Mae Hall and Oliver Hall Sr.; his siblings, Oliver Hall Jr., Zipora Hall-Macklin, Yolonda Hall, Samantha Hall-Clay and Monica Hall-Thompson; his grandparents, Lisa Porree-Hall and Ernest Hall Sr.; and his godparents, Burdella and Dan Harney Edwards.

He is survived by: his child Delisia Hall-Washington; and his grandchildren, Rickey, Zayah and Matthew III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
