With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Lovince of Gretna, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Margaret; her children, Sonnie, Jr. of Waco, TX, Thomas (Derylyn) of New Orlans, LA and Felicia Lovince Harris; her grandchildren, Justin Lovince (Mary), San Antonio, Nicole Lovince of Los Angeles, CA, Jordan Lovince (Natalie), Byron Simon and Baili Simon of New Orleans, LA; and her great grandchild Corwin Lovince of Leaky, TX.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vineyard Missionary Baptist Church (2401 Piety, New Orleans, LA 70117). Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
In support of her love for children, in lieu of flowers heartfelt donations can be made to the Margaret C Lovince Early Childhood Development Fund.
