She is survived by: her children, Melba Lee (James), Roy Brooks Jr. and Ira Melita Brooks; and her sisters, Dolores Smith Coleman and Rosalie Smith Raheem. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great - Great Grandchildren, several loving nieces and nephews.
