In loving memory of Joseph B. Sunseri Jr. of Gretna, Louisiana, who departed this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 81. Joseph leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan B. Sunseri; his parents, Joseph B. Sunseri, Sr. and Mercedes Ridge Sunseri; and his brother Carlton Sunseri. He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann Baird Sunseri; his daughter Jennifer S. Wilke (Chris); his sister Pamela Ward (late Butch); and his grandchildren, Clara Beth Wilke and Jonathan Wilke. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Harvey - Mothe Funeral Homes (2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA 70058). A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St Joseph Catholic Church-Gretna (610 6th St, Gretna, LA 70053). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Westlawn Memorial Park (1225 Whitney Ave., Terrytown, LA 70056).
