With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jonas Joseph Robertson of Gretna, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Henry Robertson and Fern Sensat Robertson; his brother Stephen Robertson (Diane); his brother-in-law Darryl Trosclair; and also Jamin Robertson (Melissa).
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fix Robertson; his children, Lori Fox (Sean) and Jordan Robertson; his grandchildren, Allison, Emily, Sydney, Faith, Jakob, Grace and Claira; and his siblings, Mary Perkins (Kermit), Cheryl Trosclair, Gerard Robertson (Tracy) and Paul Robertson (Christine).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Abundant Life (2301 Par 3 Dr, Harvey, LA 70058). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Church of Abundant Life in honor of Pastor Jonas' memory.
