He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Patterson, Sr. and Lillian "Lilly" Funck Willoz; and his siblings, Daniel "Danny Boy" Patterson and Cynthia P. Shano (late William "Buffa"). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia M. Patterson; his children, Tina Patterson Hick (Stacy Sr.), Katrina Patterson and John D. Patterson III; his grandchildren, Stacy Hicks, Jr. (Daisy), Drezden Hicks, Layla Patterson, Devin Green, Kailyn Hayes and Olivia Patterson; his godchildren, James "Jim" McGaughey, Melissa Patterson Stafford and John Jackman; and his siblings, Cheryl "Chebby" Dufrene (Edwin) and Ronnie Patterson (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Cletus Catholic Church (3600 Claire Ave, Gretna, LA 70053). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Restlawn Park Cemetery (3540 US-90, Avondale, LA 70094).
