He was predeceased by: his daughter Julia Marr; his wife Antoinette Brannan (Toni); his mother Minnie Hutzler; and his stepfather Norbert "Preacher" Hutzler. He is survived by: his children, D'Laine Sanchez (A. J.), Donna Pate (David) and Jacqueline Eggers; his sisters, Amy Hebert and Sheila Pittman; his nephews, Robin Hebert (Lisha) and Scott Pittman; his niece Wendy Barber (Rick); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle, William, Steven, Thomas, Jackie and Katie. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
