He is survived by: his daughter Meredith Gay Waltemyer (Cory); his grandchildren, Mason Calico, Hayden Calico, Easton Waltemyer and Meadow Waltemyer; and his siblings, Houston Gay, Jr., Lanita Thomas and Brenda Coyle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
