He was predeceased by: his child Shenerria M. Houston; his parents, Jules Desselle, Sr. and Leonna Tassin Desselle; his siblings, Theresa Desselle Cook, Inez Desselle Clayton, Jules, Jr., Walter and Wilbert Desselle, Sr.; and his mother-in-law Mildred Boureois Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Houston Desselle; his son Darryl Desselle, Sr.; and his siblings, Julliet Desselle Johnson (Earl) and Ava Desselle Reynolds. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary International Worship Center (1600 Westwood Dr, Marrero, LA 70072). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
