She was predeceased by: her siblings, Dr. Kenneth Melton, Jordan Ray Melton and Andrew Melton; and also, Willie Melton Jr., Clover Melton, John Melton, Phillis Melton Dase and David Melton.

She is survived by: her close friend Richard A. Lee Sr.; her children, Richard A. Lee Jr. (Betty Lee), LaTonya Bunch (Thomas Bunch), John Lee Sr. (Pamela Lee) and Cheryl Mcnair (Kenneth Mcnair); her grandchildren, Monique Madding, Danica Lee Parker, John Lee Jr., Fred Moore IV, Arianna Lee, Justin Lee and Lauren Lee; and her great grandchildren, T'Myra, Tyrese Parker, MaKenzye Madding, Charley Lee and John Lee III.
