It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Mae Lee of Gretna, Louisiana, born in Hermanville, Mississippi, who passed away on March 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Clara Mae has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Shoulders McNeil and Acie B. McNeil; and her siblings, Josie Mae Sanders-Shoulders, Annie Banks and Willie James Walls (Michelle).

She is survived by: her children, Bobbie Jean Sayles, Shawlean Lee, Marie Sayles and David Sayles, Jr.. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
