He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ott, Sr. and Ethel Navarre Ott; his siblings, David Ott, Jr. and Patricia Ott Hargis; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Jones, Sr., John Alexander, Sr., Kenneth Hoffman, Sr. and Claudette Smith Ott.
He is survived by: his sisters, Catherine Ott Jones, Marie Ott Alexander and Betty Ott Hoffman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church-Gretna (610 6th St, Gretna, LA 70053). A Mass was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Hook & Ladder Cemetery (1050 Lafayette St, Gretna, LA 70053).
