He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Franklin and Edwina Franklin; his daughter Susanne Franklin; his siblings, Clarence White, Joseph Franklin, Sheryl F. Taylor and Sandra Franklin; and his parents-in-law, Horace and Ethel Alsay.
He is survived by: his wife Savannah A. Franklin; his children, Charles Franklin Jr. (Towanka), Danny A. Alsay and Charlene Franklin; his brothers, Bobbie Franklin, Thaddeus Franklin and Shun Franklin; his sisters-in-law, Carmen White, Paulette Alsay and Paula Skidmore; and his friend Charles Wave. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Murray Henderson Funeral Home (1209 Teche St, New Orleans, LA 70114). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
