He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ramsey Sr. and Rose Lee Baker; and his mother-in-law Irma Carmon. He is survived by: his wife Pauletta Ramsey; his children, Kimberly Silva (Brian), Letreion Clements (Derrick), Neifa Hardy (Andrell), Keokuk Lawrence-Wilson, Khalilah Lawrence, Cecil, Alacia, Laycee, De'marco and Alexis; his siblings, Claudia Picquet, Dale Ramsey, James Ramsey (Odile) and Ashton Ramsey (Ruby); and his friend Linda Barrow.
