Byrone Gougisha Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Byrone Gougisha of Gretna, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Byrone may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Byrone touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Junior Gougisha; and his brother Claude Gougisha (Gelinda). He is survived by: his mother Vera Simmons Gougisha; his siblings, Michael Gougisha, Faye Gougisha Larche and Connie Gougisha Spencer; and his sister-in-law Mary Gibson Gougisha (Gilbert Larche). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and countless friends.
