It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audry Mae Laurent Orgeron of Gretna, Louisiana, born in Westwego, Louisiana, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Joseph Orgeron; her parents, Paul Joseph Laurent and Nora Martha Hymel Laurent; her son Kenneth James Orgeron; and her siblings, Francis J. Laurent, Richard A. Laurent, Betty Swanagan and Paulette McGinty.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Michael Orgeron (Lana), Judy Elizabeth Foster (Ray), Maryanne Price (Gregory), Peggy Marie Hudson and Cheryl Orgeron; and her siblings, Paul D. Laurent, David G. Laurent, Joyce Shaffer, Jacqueline "Blondie" Hotard and Beverly Lafont. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
