As Arthur Joel departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Arthur Joel. Though Arthur Joel may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlou Bays and Robert Rackley. He is survived by: his spouse Dodie Rackley; his friend Pikachu; his brother Clarence "Hey Boy" Rackley; his niece Amanda; his brother-in-law Rick Fredericks; and his sister Martha LeBlanc.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church-Algiers (620 Eliza St, New Orleans, LA 70114). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
