He was predeceased by: his parents, George Heine and Bernadine Heine; his sisters, Georgette Heine and Vera Remer; and his parents-in-law, Marjorie and Emile Flynn.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Heine (Dunn-Flynn); his children, Cindy Heine (Charlotte), William "AJ" August Jude Heine, Jr. (Shannon), Marcie O'Dwyer (Joseph) and Susan Ellender (Jules); his grandchildren, Emily Heine, William "Gus" August Jude Heine, III, John "Jack" Sylvan IV, Charles "Will" William Walsten, Julia, Jenna O'Dwyer, Caroline Garnett (Shane) and Andrew Ellender (Hillary); his great grandchildren, Amelia Garnett and Helena Ellender; his brother George (Joal); and his sister-in-law Patricia Flynn (Jerry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
