He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Stawasz, and Walter Frank Stawasz, Sr.; and his wife Susan Massey Stawasz. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine Elster (David) of Cypress, TX and Carolyn Hammond (Erik) of Shreveport, LA; his grandchild Lauren Elizabeth Hammond of Shreveport, LA.; and his extended family, Nikki, Shan, Yoshua and Francine.
The family has requested donations to the Greenwood Veterans Memorial Wall, the American Rose Center, or Volunteers of America North Louisiana in lieu of flowers.
