He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Browning and Ellen Browning; his in-laws, Raymond and Delois Gilpin; and his granddaughter Jadie Pruyn.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gilpin Browning; his children, Lynn Hooks (Michael), John Thomas Browning II and Amy Browning Pruyn (Kurt); his grandchildren, Ryan Hooks (Steph Rubin), Rachel Hooks Richardson (Luke) of Raphe Hooks, J. T, Browning III, Julia Browning (Jacob Taylor), Justin Browning, Jared Browning, Kade Pruyn, Jolie Pruyn, Kamy Pruyn and Jack Pruyn; his great grandchild Eden Browning; and his sister Kathleen Robillard.
