He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Smith and Ruthie Smith; his son Larry Smith; and his sisters, Louise King, Earline Lanehart, Artie Graham, Ella Flowers and Jennie Lou Wells.
He is survived by: his daughter Karan Walker (Garnet); his grandchildren, Kimberly Wood (Ed), Laurie Smith, Walter Smith (Amanda), Scott Walker (Brandin), Hope Walker (Chris Lea), Jordan Walker (Laeken) and Levi Bridges; his great grandchildren, Haylie Wood, Jase Wood, Andrew Walker, Layla Lea, Lilly Lea, Anna Smith, Hunter Smith and Alana Smith; his siblings, Edna Stewart (Joe Bonadventure), Bob Smith (Easter), Mack Smith (Beverly) and Jack Smith (Elaine); and his friend Mary Vickers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
