He is survived by: his wife Doris Griffin Sanders; his children, Rita Allen (Charles), Robert "Bob" Sanders (Alice) and Patrick "Pat" Sanders (Jeana); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Floyd (John), Chauntel Snoddy (Nathan), Tazi McClung (Stan), Travis Welch (Molly) and Bryan Allen (Melissa). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
