She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry L. Bennett; her parents, Hollis Allen and Luberta Allen; and her brothers, Hollis Allen, Jr. and Adren Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Bennett Miller (Steven) and Derrick Lane Bennett (Cheryl); her sisters, Barbara Hart, Louise Mitchell and Rosa Lumpkin; her grandsons, Marcus Miller (Rachel), Douglas Miller (Alyssa Kyzar) and Garrett Bennett; and her great grandchild Emily Ann Miller.
