He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Bond Hanks; and his parents, Toler Hanks and Elizabeth Hanks. He is survived by: his son Charles Kevin Hanks of New York, NY; and his sisters, Ruth Chiasson of Thibodaux, LA and Kathy Labat of Raceland, LA. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.
