He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clifford, Wanda Sparkman and Sherry Shiflet; his great-grandparents, Essieleta, Donald Cox, Zona and Paul Anderson; and his close friends, Charles Frazer and Casey Rose.

He is survived by: his parents, Tamara Burtschell (Patrick Derleth) and Floyd Sparkman (Mendy); his sons, Jayden and Easton Sparkman; his grandparents, James and Linda Anderson; and his siblings, Elizabeth Derleth, Bradley Ray Sparkman (Loraine) and Dalton Wayne Sparkman. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
