It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Mayes Foster (Grayson, Louisiana), who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman "Red" Mayes and Audie Lillian Roberts Mayes; her siblings, Julia Ann Vanlangendonck and Roy Mayes; her granddaughter Christi Dunn; and her great grandchild Olivia Ramsey.
She is survived by: her children, Everett, Ernest Ramsey and Dawn Carlson (Dylan); her siblings, John Mayes, Gary Mayes, Jim Mayes (Michele) and Aline Norwood; her grandchildren, Destiney Ramsey, Jordan Ramsey, Victoria Ramsey, Kody Ramsey, Canyon Westbrooks, Mallory Westbrooks, Briana Carlson, Kayleigh Carlson and Gunnar Carlson; and her great grandchildren, Brody Bruce, Bailey Bruce, Ella Westbrooks, Aubrey Ramsey, Addison Wise and Remington Sepulvado.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Springhill Baptist Church (7989 LA-506, Grayson, LA 71435).
