Randy M. Ainsworth Obituary
Graveside funeral services for Randy M. Ainsworth, age 65, of Grayson will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson with Rev. Jeff Masters officiating. Mr. Ainsworth will receive military honors. Eugene Dunn will deliver the eulogy. Services are under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Randy M. Ainsworth was born on December 29, 1954 at Lake Providence, LA to his beloved parents, Jack Ainsworth and Louise Jackson Ainsworth and he passed from this life on Friday, November 27, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness. Randy served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as an MSGT-E7.
He went on to pursue a career with the State of Louisiana as an Election Technician Specialist Supervisor. He retired from this position in December of 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sharon Ainsworth Reese; son, Benjy Masters; and sister-in-law, Donna Volentine. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Taylor Ainsworth of Grayson; sons: Richard M. Ainsworth of Lockhart, Texas, Jacob Turmell of Cape Coral, Florida, Jeff Masters of Columbia and daughter, Kim Ainsworth McLain of Alexandria, LA; his grandchildren: Ashlee, Brady, Kyla, Ryan, Katie, Josh, Allie, Lexie, Emmy and Landry; one great-grandson: Garrett; his sister, Diane Ainsworth Harper and special nephew and friend, Heath Volentine.
Serving as pallbearers will be Judd Smith, Bruce Mercer, Paul Roark, Eugene Dunn, Chase Lemoine and Ryan Ainsworth. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Harper and Ed Ainsworth.
