He was predeceased by: his parents, Calice Joseph Bergeron Sr. and Louise Thibodeaux Bergeron; his son Teddy Joseph Bergeron; his son-in-law Billy Sullivan; his father-in-law H. L. Mayes; his brother Francis Bergeron of Calice Bergeron, JR; his sister-in-law Enola Douet; and his sister Gervice Douet.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Christine Mayes of Grayson; his wife Gail Mayes Bergeron of Grayson; his children, Lester "Buddy" Bergeron, Jr. of Conroe, Corey Bergeron (Kelly) of Conroe, Jody Paul Frederick (Gigi) of Oak Grove, LA, Jeri Thrasher (Mike) of Grayson, Jamie Phillips (Jason) of Grayson, Tammy Gonsuron (Richard) of Conroe and Christy LeBlanc (Al) of Spring, Texas; his brother Roy Bergeron (June) of Gonzales; his brother-in-law Darrell Mayes (Sue) of Cecelia, LA; and his sister Anna Louise Boutte of Port Allen, LA. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers any planned memorials should be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
