He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Scribner Whittington; his daughter Jennifer Massey (Ray); his sisters, Reba Thomas (Danny), Judy Fitzgerald and Johnnie Brister; his grandchildren, Allison Crochet (Tyler), Autumn Massey (Brian Melancon) and Wyatt Massey; and his great grandchildren, Natalie Crochet and Trenton Crochet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
