We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Evelyn Bratton of Grayson, Louisiana, born in Clarks, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Floyd McDowell and Lula Mae Boyette McDowell; her husband Douglas Bratton; her siblings, Robert James McDowell and Mary Ruth Etheridge; and her half-brother Gerald McDowell (Pank).

She is survived by: her daughters, Carla Bratton Ashworth (Rodney) of Olla and Kellie Bratton Walton (Jonathon) of Clarks; her grandchildren, Dustin Smith, Cheyenne James, Kala Reitzell and Kadence Walton; her great grandchildren, Scott Smith (Scotty), Gabriella Smith (Bella) and Isaac Carroll (Ice Man); and her siblings, Carlos McDowell of Killeen, TX, Clayton McDowell of Grayson and Jettie McDowell of Clarks.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Riser Funeral Home, PO Box 57, Columbia, LA 71418 to help cover final expenses.
