She is survived by: her children, Vernell Riser II (Nicki) of Monroe, LA, Jarrell Riser (Demetria) of Tallahassee, FL, LaZanda Riser of Milwaukee, WI, Yolanda Brown (Mario) of League City, TX, April Morgan of Monroe, LA and Ashley Lewis of Baltimore, MD; and her sister LaVerne Maddox of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
