With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Bourg of Gray, Louisiana, born in Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Bourg and Esther Robichaux Bourg; his sisters, Carolyn Caudill and Joann Harrison; his parents-in-law, Harold Domangue, Sr. and Nell Domangue; and his siblings-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Domangue, Calvin "Sonny" Crochet, Gene "Stick" Bergeron, Sr. and Brenda "Bubba" Bergeron.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Domangue Bourg; his children, Sherry Scheffler, Dwayne "Rock" Bourg and Kimberly Rhodes (Paul); his grandchildren, Lauren Scheffler, Adam Scheffler (Savannah), Brittany Hiner (Brian), Aaron Bourg (Erin), Christian Rhodes (Ruth), Carissa Rhodes and Ciera Rhodes; his great grandchildren, Adaleigh Cotton, Eilan Cotton, Aiden Scheffler, Kaden Hiner, Owen Hiner, Lanie Hiner and Adeline Bourg; and his sister Linda Crochet.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home & Crematory (5899 LA-311, Houma, LA 70360). The military honors was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Louis Cemetery.
