He is survived by: his children, Walter Miles Jr. (Angela), Martha M. Williams and Tammy M. Maddox (Michael); his sister Bessie M. Williams; his sister-in-law Betty Daigs; and his godchildren, Jermaine Scoby and Jerome Daigs. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
