He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Porche-Redmond and Elsie Porche-Redmond; and his siblings, Howard, Ernest, Hayward, Edward Redmond, Edna, Austine, Elsieno and Sarah Redmond.

He is survived by: his wife Letha Martin Redmond; his son Darren Redmond; and his stepchildren, Deshanna Every (Milton), Jermaine, Veronica and Aleesha Diggs. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
