It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Marcell Sr. (Gray, Louisiana), born in Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on September 28, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arcen Paul and Hilma Marie Babin Marcel; his grandson Arcen Michael Marcell; and his siblings, Kevin J Marcel, Bonnie M. Adams (Clabert "C. J.") and Kathleen M. Toups.
He is survived by: his wife Valarie Elizabeth Abel Marcell; his children, Rodney "Rock" Marcell Jr. (Kelli), Elizabeth M. Faucheaux and Crystal M. (Jonathan); his sister Della M. Dupre (Michael "Mike"); his siblings-in-law, Suzi I. Marcel and Eugene J. Toups Sr.; his grandchildren, Katlyn Pitre, Aaliyah, Lamarque, Devon Johnson, Brooklin and Aubree Marcell; and his great grandchildren, Treveyon Brown, Calii and Keream Travis.
