She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Foret, Sr. and Mary Lillian Parfait Foret; and her grandparents, Albert Eslay Foret, Ernestine Crochet Foret, Henry O. Parfait and Julienne Verdin Parfait.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Nonk Bat" Duthu, Sr.; her children, Angela Trahan (Leslie), Joseph Duthu, Jr. (Consuela), Chad Duthu (Andrea), Yolanda Ajimoti (Adedeji) and Mark Duthu (Amy); and her siblings, Joseph "Nu" Foret (Irene), Joseph "Lachune" Foret, Jr. (Shantel), James "Jim" Foret, Troy Foret (Roxanna), Rosella Carlos (Darryl), Loretta Pierron (Albert) and Lisa Foret (Walter). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
