She was predeceased by : her children, Barry Bonin and Darlene Cardenas; her great grandchild Louis Blanchard; her parents, Hillmonde Matherne and Helen Dufrane Matherne; and her siblings, Henry Matherne, Adles Matherne, Stanley Matherne, Lloyd Matherne, Jesse Matherne, Dale Matherne, Ula Hafford, Adele Monot, Clothille Hogan and Stella Guidry.

She is survived by : her husband Ledon Bonin; her children, Blair Bonin (Kim), Bryan Bonin (Sheila), Debbie Blanchard (Louie), Dolly Dupre (Mark) and Donna Quick (Mark); and her siblings, Edward Matherne, Della Belanger and Loretta Dardar. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
