With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Spiess Peterson (Gray, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 25, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Edward Peterson; her parents, William Percy and Estelle Rose Cochran Spiess; and her sisters, Linda Pipitone and Luana Blasio.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen P. Cannizzaro (Gregory) and Karen P. Roussel (Drew). She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
