She was predeceased by: her son Christian Babin; her parents, Roberta Bellamy Wasdin and Sylvester "Buddy" Callahan; her brothers, Irving "Bill" Aucoin and Michael Lite; her sisters-in-law, Mary and Beulah; her mother-in-law Gloria Smith; and her pet Kirby.
She is survived by: her husband Hilton Smith Sr.; her children, Shane Babin (Sandy Liner), Tessa, Chase Liner and Hilton "Toodee" Smith Jr. (Ashlee Parfait); her granddaughter Rayla Babin (Joshua Woods); her siblings, Janice Cox (Wayne), Jason Devault (Connie), Evelyn Neil (Arnold), Betty Devault, Phyllis Aucoin and Paula Williams (Eric); her stepsister Venetia King Babin (Carey); and her pets, Kiba and Diamond. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
