She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Evans and Mary Evans; her grandson Roderick Legard, III; and her sisters, Sandra Evans and Pamela Young.

She is survived by: her children, Roderick Largard, Jr., Aidan Evans and Krystal Shephard (Milton); her siblings, Williams Hayes, Herman Evans, Jr. (Diane), Rosalind and Carmen Evans; and her granddaughters, Maya, Mariah Lagarde and Chloe Sawyer.
