It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald G. Lopez Sr. of Gray, Louisiana, born in Jennings, Louisiana, who passed away on November 4, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lopez, Sr. and Rose Mae Lopez; his grandparents, Louis, Lilly Lopez, Cyprien and Eva LaComb; his sisters, Jackie Duhon, Kitty Duhon and Linda Chapman; and his niece Cheryle McCann.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald G. Lopez, Jr. (Ashley), Kandy Lopez and Kellie Sanchez; his grandchildren, Karree Sanchez, Trey Lopez, Sarissa Ledet and Sara Lopez; his great grandchildren, Kyrin and Kayson; and his siblings, Tracy Lopez (Zaraka), Stephen Thibodeaux (Stephanie), Leonard Lopez, Jr. (Leila), Diana Ewing, Cora Lopez and Dubie Istre (Alvin). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
