He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Callahan Sr. and Alice Bourg Callahan; his sister Melinda Callahan Vail; and his siblings-in-law, Wesley "Jug" Vail and Patricia Callahan.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry T. Callahan; his children, Christopher Tolar (Kimberly), Carlo "Bubba" Tolar (Ratheal), Darlene Conn (Kelly), Shannon "Sissy" Hebert (Jeffrey) and Newana "Teensie" Callais (Darrel "Pookie"); his brother Orville Callahan (Virginia); his grandchildren, Kristin, Christopher "Buddy", Jacob T., Kelly, Sarah, Devin, Elizabeth, Jeshua, Bonnie, Andrew, Blaine, Bethany, Kelsey, Heather, Todd, Hunter and Jacob R.; his great grandchildren, Owen, Mason, Addyson, Ryleigh and Gage; his godson Orville "Pedo" Callahan Jr.; and his pet Issey.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideons.
