He is survived by: his children, Leonard Ray Mitchell (Gloria), Earl Ray Mitchell, Jr. (Penny), Bobby Wayne Mitchell, Yvette Marie Mitchell, Yvonne Mitchell Odikpo (Michael) and Melinda Mitchell; and his siblings, Larry Mitchell (Gloria), Donald Craig Mitchell (Patsy), Rev. Gregory Bruce Mitchell (Gwen), Suzanne Harris (Nolan), Valerie Campbell (George), Arlene Mitchell and Dr. Veronica Thomas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
