She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas Minor Duplantis Sr.; her son Guy Duplantis Sr.; her parents, Beatrice Samanie and Antoine Chauvin (Buck); and her brothers, Enis and Peter.

She is survived by : her children, Thomas Jr., Keith Duplantis and Gayle Duplantis; her grandchildren, Gary, Tina, Brandy, Bobbie Gayle, Guy Jr., Jessica, Kayla and Amber; and her siblings, Bobby, Lloyd Chauvin and Syble Marcel. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grand children.
