He was predeceased by : his wife Cecile Wesley Baptiste; his parents, Danard Baptiste and Laura Wilson Baptiste; and his sister Doris Wooten. He is survived by : his children, Donald Baptiste, Jr. (Gloria), Darlene B. Sargent (Lloyd, Jr.), Desiree Baptiste and Terri Lynn Baptiste. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
