He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence James Lajaunie and Emma Lajaunie; and his siblings, Lawrence Lajaunie Jr., Lee Cheramie and Roxanne Lajaunie.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Monroe; his sons, Zek Lajaunie (Cera) and David Lajaunie Jr.; and his close friend Floyd Monroe.
