It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lajaunie Sr. of Gray, Louisiana, born in Westwego, Louisiana, who passed away on July 20, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence James Lajaunie and Emma Lajaunie; and his siblings, Lawrence Lajaunie Jr., Lee Cheramie and Roxanne Lajaunie.

He is survived by : his former life partner Mary Monroe; his sons, Zek Lajaunie (Cera) and David Lajaunie Jr.; and his close friend Floyd Monroe.
