She was predeceased by: her husband Lemuel Brown, Sr.; her parents, Samuel, Sr. Howard and Gladys Barrow Howard; and her brothers, William and Floyd Howard.
She is survived by: her sons, Lemuel F. Brown, Jr. (Barbara) and Brian K. Brown (Sheila); and her siblings, Samuel Howard, Jr. (Annette), Michael Howard (Barbara), Yvonne H. Garner, Laura Tucker, Lorraine Howard and Beverly Matthews. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A public viewing will be conducted from 9:00 a. m. until funeral time at 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 3076 W. Main Street in Gray, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.).
