It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Van Leuven of Gray, Louisiana, born in Ellenville, New York, who passed away on October 26, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Van Leuven; her parents, Beatrice Van Vliet and Isaac Van Vliet Sr.; her brothers, Isaac Van Vliet Jr. and Donald Van Vliet; her son John Bennett (Casey); her grandchild Shelby; and her great grandchildren, Enzo and Mystical.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Falgout (Francis Falgout Jr), Rachel Leboeuf (Paul LeBoeuf Jr.), Angel Van Leuven, Richard Van Leuven, Duane Bennett and Raymond Bennett; and her siblings, Beatrice Whipple and Edgar Van Vliet. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
