She was predeceased by : her husband Nolan J. Chauvin; her daughter Bonnie Schouest (Joe); her parents, Adonis Belanger and Virginia Belanger; and her brothers, Nolan, Raymond and Terry Belanger.

She is survived by : her children, Nona Prejean (Neal) and Kevin Chauvin (Janita). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
