He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Crince" and Augusta Guidry; and his siblings, Audrey Guidry Mader Friel and Ralph James Guidry. He is survived by: his wife Marsha "Pepper" Guidry; his children, Laura Guidry-Canedo (Baton Rouge) and Dr. David Wayne Guidry; his children-in-law, Jorge Mario Canedo-Martinez and Anna Holmes Guidry; his brother Charles "Chuck" Guidry of Grand Isle; and his grandchildren, Juliana Marie and Jorge David Canedo.
